Are these really heavy duty ? I have 2 Costco heavy duty lifetime warranty 100 ft burst under the hot sun in the last 6 months. Meanwhile, those Sears black rubber one I got like 10 years ago still holding strong.

Beware of the aluminum coupling cold welding to your brass hose bib and unfortunately they aren't the only hose manufacturer pulling this bullshit lately. Their ad copy says brass female coupling, but product photo and customer reviews with photos would indicate otherwise.

Yep. Those were good times. Sears points mania let me score so many craftsman tools / hoses. I've had a hose in my MN backyard for almost 10 years. It still works like new (more grey than black now, though).

Thanks OP! Repped.
My Costco's 100-ft bought last summer has already started to leak, at least three places!
Hope this one lasts longer.

Quote from Selman : These are way better built than the Craftsman hoses that so many people think are the best: https://www.theisens.com/products/apache-contractor-industrial-50-watergarden-hose-assembly58?gad_so... [theisens.com] . SwanVIPER Octogonal Shape Invincible Hose- 50' (bigronline.com) [bigronline.com]

Also looks like ag stores also carry Apache but seems a bit on the expensive side (at least locally)

Quote from bruisersmith : Agreed that ag supply stores seem the way to go. I have 2 of the Craftsman hoses as well, also still going strong. I was in a Big R in Colorado recently and saw these, definitely reminded me of the older Craftsman hoses: SwanVIPER Octogonal Shape Invincible Hose- 50' (bigronline.com) [bigronline.com] The Apache fittings are heavier than anything I've seen. Not a granny's watering hose, but excellent lay in the yard/field for years hoses.
