Students whose families speak alanguage other than English at home should contact Multilingual Education Services at (316) 866-8000 or visit the MES website.
Students’ English language skills are tested so they are placed in the best program for their English proficiency. Programs for English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) are available at every elementary school; in middle and high school, students may be assigned a school to attend based on their need for English-language assistance.
Kindergarten and Pre-K Families
Incoming Kindergarten Students
All kindergarten families need to enroll in person. There is an additional Ages & Stages Questionnaire all kindergarten students need to complete to pinpoint developmental progress. In July, families can complete this at scheduled in-person enrollment dates. If you're joining us at another time of year, call the office to find the best times to come in and enroll.
